Dear guests, in this post we are going to talk about some hiking routes in the Granada area, as for some of you it is one of your hobbies. The Granada area is a place full of hiking trails due to its large area of countryside.
First of all we talk about:
Ruta del Castañar de Aldeire; This is a short route that can be enjoyed by all kinds of people. It has an extension of about 5 kilometres and is located in the area of Guadix. During this route you can find all kinds of vegetation such as poplars, walnut trees, chestnut trees as well as trees with many years of age. Due to this vegetation, visiting this route in autumn is one of the most beautiful.
The route of the Cahorros, is a slightly longer route than the previous one, about 9 kilometres. You can find it in the village of Monachil exactly in the canyon of the river Monachil. It is easily accessible and can be reached by bus from any area. This route is famous for a suspension bridge where tourists always enjoy having their photo taken.
The route of La Pavilla, is a route located in the village of Nigúelas. It is the shortest route of the whole post. This route is characterised by the gorge of the lovers. It is a very good route to do with small children, who will enjoy the magnificent views. Although it passes through a gorge, the route is perfectly fenced where there is no danger for hikers.
